Preschool Student Care & Curriculum
We use “theme-based” teaching in each classroom, allowing individual teachers to choose their weekly and monthly themes. The teachers plan and implement lesson plans to include art, music, dramatic play, blocks, sensory experiences, large and small motor activities, etc. that focus on their theme and their level of development. The use of learning centers in the classroom helps the children learn through play and discovery.
The summer session includes swimming 2 times a week, fun summer themes in the classroom and other exciting activities.
5-star care
Elementary Student Care
After School Care is available for elementary-aged students. Transportation is provided from three elementary schools in the area (Horace Mann, Jeffries & Harrison). The After-School activities include outdoor play, art projects, games, and other group projects.
Vacation/Snow Day is an option for elementary students that would need care when school is out for holidays, Inservice days or weather days. A minimal Registration Fee holds a spot; tuition is charged only for the days the student attends.
A Summer Program is offered for elementary students during the summer months. The program involves field trips, swimming, bowling, skating, gymnastics, movies and much more. Registration for the summer program is open in late March each year.
Breakfast, Afternoon Snack
Meals
Breakfast and afternoon snacks are provided and served to every student daily. Families will provide a light lunch for their child each day. Children with food allergies must have a doctor’s note on file with the preschool office.
