Preschool Student Care & Curriculm
We use “theme-based” teaching in each classroom, allowing individual teachers to choose their weekly and monthly themes. The teachers plan and implement lesson plans to include art, music, dramatic play, blocks, sensory experiences, large and small motor activities, etc. that focus on their theme and their level of development. The use of learning centers in the classroom helps the children learn through play and discovery.
The summer session includes swimming 2 times a week, fun summer themes in the classroom and other exciting activities.
5-star care
Elementary Student Care
Transportation to and from three elementary schools in the area is provided. During the school year, the before and after school activities include outdoor play, art projects, games, and other group projects. If needed, there is an area available for children to work on their homework. In the summer, a full day program with many field trips and fun activities is offered. Registration for the summer program is open in late March each year.
There is a Vacation/Snow Day option for elementary students that would need full day care when school
is out for holidays, Inservice days or weather days.
There is also a Summer Program offered for elementary age students. The program involves field trips,
swimming, bowling, skating, gymnastics, movies and much more.
Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Snack
Meals
Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are served to every student. Menus are posted weekly outside the classroom doors. A child may bring their own lunch if they prefer. Children with food allergies must have a doctor’s note on file with the preschool office.
